The Magic Christmas Choir Boy

The magic Christmas choir boy practised Christmas songs all year long. When he hit the low notes, the whole house shook – when he hit the high notes, it rattled the Christmas tree so much that his music made the baubles spin and the fairy lights twinkle. The magic Christmas choir boy never got his words mixed up … or forgot his lines. He was so magic that when he made a wish, his Christmas dreams came true. All the magic Christmas choir boy wanted was a train set for Christmas – his wished on a star and his wish came true. He also wanted some new musical instruments – when he blew a trumpet, his magic magic wish came true. If the magic Christmas choir boy wished for a guitar or a drum – he clapped his hands together – a guitar appeared and started to strum. Magic flew out of the door, across the garden and bounced off the floor. The magic Christmas choir boy sang with an orchestra of angels – he even played the harp – doe, rah, me fah, so la, tee, doh, notes D, E and F sharp. When the magic Christmas choir boy sang Handel – his music lit up the church with magic Christmas candles which glowed quite bright, right through the night – and made the midnight light and white. Soon the whole house was full of the magic Christmas choir boy’s Christmas magic. The magic Christmas choir boy studied astronomy at school – he studied the stars and life on Mars and when Christmas came he knew exactly how to find the Christmas star – when he sang, it twinkled on high – he sang so much, the star almost fell from the sky. The magic Christmas choir boy loved turkey and mince pies – and he saw Christmas dinner, with hungry, bulging eyes. But his favourite food was Christmas pudding – which he ate for breakfast, dinner and tea. When he sang his magic Christmas tunes, Mrs Christmas gave him an enormous plateful. The magic Christmas choir boy kissed the Christmas fairy on her cheek underneath the mistletoe … she blushed so much, it made the tinsel sparkle even more. The magic Christmas choir boy played with all Santa Claus’s toys – it didn’t matter to him very much that they were for other girls and boys. The magic Christmas choir boy brushed his hair with a fir cone … and polished his shoes with branches from the Christmas tree. He like to snowball the gnomes in the winter frost, which made the gnomes quite cross. What made them even angrier was that the magic choir boy never lost. The snowballs thrown by the magic Christmas choir boy travelled all around the world and into outer space … the magic Christmas choir boy’s magic made music for the whole of the human race.
