Pete’s Feet (poem)

a-feet.jpg

Pete’s feet are quite a treat – they’re small, smelly but quite petite. He keeps his socks in a pile that’s neat – but soon they’re smelly and not so sweet. He twiddles his toes and his shoes make a beat – he puts them together and they make a fleet. He ties up his laces – his feet are complete. Pete’s feet are quite a treat – fold them in half and they make a pleat. When Pete puts his feet up – they’re a bed with a sheet. He sits in the garden with birds that go tweet. Pete’s feet are quite a treat.
