Reg the Regimental Sergeant Major

 lierutenatne3.jpg

Reg the Regimental Sergeant Major,
Looked all over the mess, but still couldn’t find his pager …
He really felt like polishing his boots nice and shiny,
But he had to get to work, (it was nearly half past – niney) …
Reg the Regimental Sergeant Major still hadn’t finished his maths homework
(But he didn’t want anyone to think that he’s shirked !).
Reg the Regimental Sergeant Major worked for a minimal wage …
The army didn’t pay much so he decided to join the stage …
Very soon, as he marched up and down,
He was practising his lines all around the town.
He much preferred theatrical costumes which really were all the rage …
And they came in a variety of colours, other than army khaki beige !
