Bluebell Glade In the Enchanted Forest

elves.jpg

The bluebell glade in the Enchanted Forest,
was where the Evergreen gnome made his home.
Every day, a woodpecker awoke him with an alarm clock clatter,
Before long, the Evergreen gnome had joined in the dawn chorus chatter.
He washed in the dew drops showers that fell on the flowers
and brushed his hair with fir cone comb for hours.
Every day, the Evergreen gnome ate a mushroom breakfast sat on a toadstool.
He studied how to fish at the Lillypad School.
The Evergreen gnome went for a ride on a frog,
When the frog got tired, they rested on a log.
The Evergreen gnome even tore his pants, too
So quickly learned how to stitch,
From an elf who knew what to do.
He learned to sing from a blue tit, that flew,
And how to plant flowers that grew and grew.
The bluebell glade in the Enchanted Forest,
Was where the caterpillars came to rest.
When the Evergreen gnome looked down on the ground,
A slug, two centipedes, six ants
And a caterpillar were crawling around.
