Parson Parsnip

parsnip.jpg

Parson Parsnip was mad about vegetables.
He ate as many as he was able.
He had fried tomatoes for breakfast and boiled potatoes for lunch,
He liked them even better when they made a “CRUNCH !” as he munch.
Parson Parsnip cut them in pieces,
Then he mashed them and smashed them and gave them to his nieces.
Parson Parsnip loved parsnip best,
He even ate them raw when he couldn’t get the rest.

Answers :
1/ 50 x (50 / 2) = 1 , 250
2/ 0.2 x 14 = 2.8 cm
3/ 1 250 – (1 250 / 100 x 14) = 1 250 – 175 = 1, 075
4/ 4 + 8 + 6 + 2 = 20
5/ 23 x 20 = 460
6/ 2528 / 4 = 632
7/ 5.6 x £0.25 = £1.40
8/ £1.40 – (£1.40 / 100 x 14) = £1.40 – 0.196 = £1.20
9/ 340 / 4 = 85
10/ 2, 528 / 35 = 72.2 = 73
11/ 8 x 75 = 600
12/ (3 x £0.75) + (8 x 95) + (6 x 0.23) = 225 + 760 + 138 = £ 11.23
13/ Parson – 4 x 4 = 16 / 20 minutes ; Vicar 4 x 4 x 3 48 / 20 minutes
14/ Total : 212 ; parsnips : 2 x 5 x 4 x 3 = 120 ; tomatoes : 40 ; carrots : 2 ; mushrooms :10 ; boiled potatoes : 40
15/ 500 / 40 = 12 (with 10ml remaining)
