**OK Karal maths game …**

**The Ok karal in Oklahoma had a howdown every Friday night.
The cowboys danced to rock and roll music in the starlight
Some of them even got in a fight !**

**1/ For OK Karal waltz, every one danced in pairs. If there were 247 people dancing – how many pairs were there and how many people were left ?**

**2/ In the quick step – people took five steps forwards, five backwards, three steps to the left and back again. They repeated this sequence one hundred times – how many steps did all the people take ?**

**3/ Twenty people drank 1.5 litre bottles of moonshine each, thirty people drank 2 1 litre bottles of cider each and fifty people drank 2 litres of punch in total. How much did they all drink in total ?**

**4/ There were three hot dogs for each person, but only two thirds were actually eaten – how many hotdogs is that ?**

**5/ Four people sat at each table and there were 200 tables – how many people could sit in total ? But when 20 % were dancing – how many people were seated ?**

**6/ A different song was played every five minutes. The party started at eight o ‘ clock and continued until midnight. How many songs were played ?**

**7/ The bottles of tomato ketchup at the OK Dokey, Hokey Cokey party had 15 % extra free. If they were 500 ml – how much ketchup was in the new, larger bottles ?**

**8/ One onion was shared between two hotdogs and each of the 247 people ate three hotdogs each. How many onions were needed ?**

**9/ Work out the area of the dance floor if it’s length measured 10.5 metres and it ‘s width was 12.8 metres.**

**10/ The party should have started at 8 o’ clock but Governor Oven arrived 15 minutes late. Cowboy Will Power arrived half an hour after him and five minutes later, two cowboys. Finally, ten minutes later the farmer’s wife arrived – what time did she arrive ?**
