Brigadier Bridge

lierutenatne1.jpg

Brigadier Bridge marched over the bridge,
He walked so fast, that he soon reached the ridge.
He met the Grand Old Duke of York, sat in the hay,
Who somewhere near Manchester, had somehow lost his way
Brigadier Bridge soon had sore feet,
His boots creaked in the sweltering heat.
One – two – one – two, he quick – marched in step …
Soon he was dancing a rather fast quick – step !
