Answers :
/ One part = 24 / 8 = 3 therefore, 3 : 9 : 6 : 6
/ 250 / 100 x 15 = 37.5
/ 8 x 3 = 24 hours x 2.5 km = 60 km
/ 15 x 3 = 45
/ 5.99 + 29.99 + 5.99 + 6.99 + 1.50 = $50.46
/ 120 / 8 = 15 mins
/ 25 x 9.5 = 237.5 km
/ 200 + (200 / 100 x 15 = 30 cm) = 230 cm
/ 150 x 550 x 0.5 = 41250 cubic cm
/ One part = 600 / 6 = 100 therefore 100 : 200 : 300
/ a) 4 / 500 = 1 / 125 b) 8 / 500 = 62.5 c) 12 / 500 = 2.4 %
/ a) 30 x 20 = 600 cm = 6 m b) 15 x 100 = 1500 / 30 = 50 mins
/ 500 – (500 / 100 x 80 = 400) = 100
/ If top speed = a, second gear = b and third gear = c, a = 3b (2c). We know that c (third gear) equals 15, therefore, 15 x 2 x 3 = 60 km / hour
/ If number one hit = a; number two hit = b ; number three hit = c
a = 3 b + c = 3 x (200 000 + 150 000) = 350 000 x 3 = 1 , 050, 000
/ a) 100 x 150 = 15 000 square metres b) 15 000 / 1.5 = 10 000 x 75 = 750 000 c) 750 000 / 500 = 1500 bags
/ 10 x 100 / 5.5 = 181.8 jumps
/ a) 5 / 50 = 1 / 10th b) 10 / 50 = 0.2 c) 15 / 50 = 30 % d) 5 : 10 : 15 : 20 = 1 : 2 : 3 : 4 e)
/ 189 + (189 / 10 = 18.9) = 207.9 cm
/ 25 – (25 / 100 x 80 = 20) 5
