**The springiest spring was so springy that everything started to spring. The springiest spring sprang from January to November and back again. From autumn to winter without so much as blinking. The springiest spring was so springy that as soon as anything sat on it … it sprang. In fact, it sprang all over the place. The springiest spring sprang from the kitchen to the lounge. Off the table, over the plates, passing the cups and saucers, on it’s way to the chair … then circled around the bend towards the door. The springiest spring sprang some more, from the tops of the cupboards, then sprang onto the floor. The springiest spring sprang again and again … it sprang on the taps in the bathroom then sprang on the window pane. The springiest spring sprang until it was quite exhausted … sprang over the garden wall … it sprang on top of the garden seat and rolled over like a ball. The springiest spring sprang towards the Sun and over the clouds as well … then it sprang over the cat until it sprang and then it fell.**
