The Crater Waiter

alien-6.jpg 1. The Planet Zorg restaurant served Planet Zorgian flies collected by the aliens from the craters. Each crater contained 15 flies. If there were 20 craters, how many flies did they each collect ?

alien-6.jpg 3. The restaurant on the Planet Zorg served 500 customers a day. 70% of them came to the restaurant in the morning. How many is that ? How many came in the afternoon ?

alien-6.jpg 4. The Planet Zorgian restaurant served 50 plates of sausages and on each plate was 3 sausages, twice as many as fried eggs. How many sausages is that ? 

alien-6.jpg 5.  The waiter walked around 100 craters serving customers. Each crater had 5 customers choosing from the menu. How many customers is that in total ?

alien-6.jpg 7. The crater waiter was in such a rush that some of the leaves fell out of his bush ! If there were 400 leaves on the  bush and 5 % fell off, how many were left ? 

alien-6.jpg 8. The restaurant on the Planet Zorg was so busy that there was a queue of 300 people. Unfortunately, some of them had to wait outside the door ! If 5 % were on the pavement, how many people is that ? 

alien-6.jpg 9. The crater waiter smashed 10% of the glasses but luckily he was greater later and only smashed 5 %. If there were 10 trays, each holding 100 glasses, how many were smashed in the first instance ? Then, from the remaining glasses, how many were smashed ?  

alien-6.jpg 10. The crater waiter had to walk quite fast … no – one wanted their dinner last ! If the crater waiter walked at a speed of 5 km / hour, how long did it take him to walk around a field that measured 2 km wide and 1 km long ?
