Flo The Glowing Glow – Worm, Who Couldn’t Go

cahaf5l6.jpg

Flo the glow – worm loved to be, crawling around on the leaves of a tree. She loved the taste of something appl – ey … and often ended up with juice on her cheeks, regularly. Flow the glow – worm opened wide … and swallowed an apple core deep inside. In just one gulp, the fruit was gone – though when she looked closer, there was an apple pip left – just one ! She tried to eat an apple whole, munching a hole the size of the North Pole. But one day, when Flo the glow – worm took a big lick – she didn’t expect that she would accidentally stick ! Hic ! Hic ! Before long, Flo the glow – worm started to completely adher, she hadn’t been this stuck for at least a year ! So Flo the glow – worm couldn’t go … her attempts to run fast were hopeless – she could only wriggle slow ! Getting back out turned out to be quite tricky – she tried to think how to become less sticky. She wriggled a little bit – but it was no good, she didn’t fit, and was stuck in the wood. Although she tried to run away, it seemed that she was completely caught up for the day ! But still Flo couldn’t go – she tried to jog, but her hairy legs were too low. Flo always got glowing reports at school … the teachers said she was a star pupil – who shone out in class … but nowadays, she was simply stuck in the grass. In the compost heap, Flo the glow – worm tried to squirm … but she couldn’t and only stuck to a worm. She stuck to the flowers and to the garden hoe – she was so well – glued, she couldn’t go ! You wouldn’t believe the clatter that she made, when Flo the glowing glow – worm stuck to the spade ! The snail looked on in utter dismay, wondering how Flo got stuck so much in one day ! Luckily a hairy caterpillar came by her way and suggested that she should rock and sway to get away. Very soon, the whole orchard was rock and rollin’ too – it turned out to be quite a hullaballoo ! All the rock and rollin’ made a cidery stew, so the glow worms were drunk by two (as glow worms sometimes do). No wonder, Flo was a glowing glow – worm glowed. She drank a whole pondful of cider (and it showed !). Drinking all that cider in the Sun, her cares were over (though the gardening didn’t get done !). _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
