Russel The Bristly Jack Russell Who Couldn’t Whistle

spot1.jpg

Jack Beanstalk had a jack russel dog, called Russ, that he often walked around the bog instead of going on the bus. When the going got extremely rough, the Jack Russell barked loudly “WOOF ! WOOF !”. He barked as he went looking for a bone – unfortunately all he found was a rather untasty stone ! He wagged his tail when he saw a snail – which he followed along the woodland trail. The snail could only walk quite slow – and sometimes didn’t know which way to go … so hardly surprising Russel the Bristly Jack Russell soon got lost in the snow. Perhaps it would have been a better idea to have taken the train ! “WOOF ! WOOF !”, he barked again – trying hard not to step in the puddles left by the rain. Jack the jack russell’s favourite food, of course, were brussel sprouts, though they rolled everywhere when the jack russell came bounding out. When Russell tried to whistle, at the same time as chew, all that came out was a murmuring “PHEW !” ! As Russell the bristly Jack Russell went splashing around in the wood, his fur soon became completely covered in mud. The mud was soon so well – glued to his bristles, Russel the Jack Russell could hardly blow one of his whistles. In fact, when he rolled over in the grass, he picked up the odd thistle in his bristles. No wonder that Russell the Jack Russell was so bristly … his punk rock haircut stuck upright – even when he rolled over in bed at night. Russell the Jack Russell met a cat and they had a tustle. The cat ran away when he saw Russell’s muscle !
