Santa and The Eskimo’s Fishing Trip In The North Pole

 carol-singing.jpg

On his way around the North Pole, Santa met an eskimo, who was fishing in an ice hole. The eskimo invited Santa in for some fish and chips. Before long, the two of them, were planning an around the world trip. It was chilly outside and the eskimo suggested a snow ride. Santa agreed that the eskimo just might like, to take a ride to the grotto on his snow – bike. The eskimo stopped off at the igloo to get his boots, gloves and hat. He didn’t want to catch a cold and end up in hospital with this and that. Santa asked the eskimo, to lend him his fishing rod. He said that he’d like to try, to catch a plaice or a cod. Santa’s fishing wasn’t good at all – he only caught one trout that was two inches tall. When Santa peered inside the hole, he slipped on the ice and squashed a lemon sole. His fishing net broke and he was left only with a spoke. No wonder Santa was such a grumpy bloke !

When The Eskimo Came For Christmas To Santa’s Grotto

Santa liked to keep the grotto well – heated and the fire burned all Winter just to keep the gnomes and his slippers warm ! Mrs Christmas’ oven was constantly switched on while she cooked enough mince pies for all the elves. Not much good for an eskimo, who liked to be in the cold. Where would be the best place for an eskimo to sleep in Santa’s grotto ? Write a two page essay about the eskimo’s stay. How might Mrs Chcristmas overcome the problem ? Perhaps, the snowman in Santa’s garden might have a good idea !
