The Christmas When Santa Broke The Window

carol-singing.jpg

Not many people know, but Santa liked to play football in the snow. Whenever his sleigh wouldn’t go, he kicked around a ball high and low. The Christmas when Santa broke the window, was the worst match he every played – he hadn’t intended to “SMASH !” the glass, but “OOPS !”, it shattered as to the goalkeeper gnome, he made a pass. Santa imagined that if Christmas was never needed anymore, he’d become a superstar, kick balls around the floor and score. Santa signed autographs for all the elves, who kept posters of him in his favourite football shirt upon their kitchen shelves. The gnomes all thought soccer star Santa was really great … though he very rarely hit a ball straight ! “Up the reds !”, the Christmas fairy shouted out with glee, before a ball hit and she fell off the Christmas tree. The Christmas when Santa broke the window, Mrs. Christmas rushed out with a brush … to sweep up all the broken glass, without further ado or fuss. Santa’s soccer ball soon had a hole. It was so punctured, it no longer would roll. The Christmas when Santa broke the window, he had a thousand balls in his sack – all he intended to do was to kick one or two, but the window got broke when a thousand balls were kicked back !

When Santa Looked Through The Window In The Snowfall

Santa looked through the window at the story again … but when the snow falling, he couldn’t properly see through the windowpane. Can you help Santa at all ? By filling in the gaps in the words in the snowfall ? What letters should they be ? Without his spectacles, Santa cannot properly see !
