The Christmas When Santa Met A Friendly Phantom Ted In The Grotto

carol-singing.jpg

The Christmas when Santa’s wife, Mrs. Christmas made mince pies, they seemed to disappear before her very eyes ! She left them out to cool, when she returned they were being stolen by a ghoul ! The ghostly disappearance didn’t stop there – Santa disappeared off the chair ! Then, all the milk apparently disappeared into thin air ! On his way up the stairs to bed, Santa noticed that the cat, too, had fled. He started to see red, shouting at the snowman, until he realised it was a phantom instead, who Santa called “Ted” ! There were ghostly bumps in the night. Again, Santa thought that it must have been the gnomes falling out of bed, banging their head, until he realised that it was Phantom Ted. Phantom Ted’s magic worked more – extra – ordinairy than the Christmas fairy, he made the ice and snow disappear in January. On Christmas morning, the presents, which had been placed carefully, all disappeared from beneath the Christmas tree. As Santa poured on gravy thickly, the Christmas dinner cooked by Santa, too, disappeared rather quickly, as Phantom Ted by the window flew.
