Complete the following sentences.

The pelican who flew over Jack’s beanstalk dropped a fish It wriggled

somewhat and dropped into Jack’s dish  – what was it ?

The sparrow who flew over Jack’s beanstalk dropped a worm – on it’s way

down, it started to squirm  – what was it ?

The crow dropped a twig – now it had one less to make it’s nest and his

home wouldn’t be quite so big  – what was it ?

The rook dropped a piece of straw – it fell from his mouth when he

started to craw  – what was it ?

The seagull dropped a seashell on his way from the sea, now there was

one less on the beach, naturally  – what was it ?

The hand – glider dropped his shoe – it fell and hit Jack on the head – and

left him black and blue  – what was it ?

There even was a kite, that flew over Jack’s beanstalk one night … which

dropped one of it’s ribbons and it fell on a branch to the right  – what was

it ?

The blue tit left a feather – it passed through the leaves and fell in a pile

of heather  – what was it ?

The eagle was the grandest bird of all, when he passed by, an egg began

to fall – what was it ?
