The Vowel Owl

index1.jpg

The vowel owl in Jack’s beanstalk howled in vowels. “A – E – I – O” – from morning until night he loudly twit – twoo to the crow – then he added a “U” to the robin in the hedgerow. Farmer Giles put down his trowel, just to come and hear the owl. As the beanstalk grew and grew, the vowel owl sat on a branch and let out an “Oooo”.
